“Buckingham Township received state funding for a new PFAS treatment facility, local representatives have announced.
State Sen. Steve Santarsiero, D-Bucks, and state Rep. Tim Brennan, D-Bucks, announced in July that Buckingham Township had been awarded $2,057,063 in state funding and a $615,089 loan to build a remediation system for PFASs, also known as forever chemicals, at the township’s Hearthstone water treatment facility.
The facility is to include a new building and a connection to the main water system in the Cold Spring Service Area, where the Hearthstone system is located. That service area is centered on the neighborhood between Cold Spring Creamery and Hansell roads.” …
