“HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Three South Carolina men have signed onto a nationwide lawsuit blaming dozens of companies for using carcinogens in firefighting products that sickened them.
Robert Denhardt Jr., of Myrtle Beach, Anthony McCullough of Andrews in Georgetown County and William Tucker of McColl in Marlboro County say their kidney and liver cancer diagnoses are linked to AFFF and PFAs found in turnout gear.
They’re among more than 150 plaintiffs nationwide that are suing over similar claims. The 83-page lawsuit was filed Friday in Horry County Common Pleas Court and names 3M, DuPont, Honeywell and Tyco Fire Products and dozens of other companies as defendants.”…
