“Residents of Parchment Township, Cooper Township, Belmont and Rockford areas were encouraged to enroll in a PFAS multi-site study by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The study is recruiting adults ages 18 and older and children between the ages 4 and 17 with permission from a parent or guardian for the study.
‘Study results will guide decisions to better protect public health, including community members exposed to PFAS across the country,’ said Chief Medical Executive and Chief Deputy for Heath Dr. Joneigh Khaldun.
Michiganders that are already enrolled in other PFAS studies were encouraged to enroll in this national study. They can call 877-256-8073 to check their eligibility and join the research.”…
