“PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – An effort to recall some of the Plainfield Township board over drinking-water concerns is beginning to solidify.
Though no recall petition language has been finalized yet, members of a citizens’ watchdog group, Demand Action from Plainfield Township, met Jan. 20 to discuss their recall plans.
They’re planning to target Supervisor Bob Homan and Trustee Susan Morrow.
‘The objective is to get someone who will represent the Plainfield Township residents themselves,’ said Cody Angell, one of the lead organizers of Demand Action. The Facebook page for the group has more than 5,000 members…
Homan has previously sipped from a water glass as residents raised concerns about their drinking water at a public meeting. His authoritative demeanor and manner of responding to resident questions has rubbed some the wrong way, Angell said.
It’s eroded the community’s trust, Angell said.”
