A well that serves residents of the Houlton Mobile Home Park, near Houlton International Airport, tested positive for elevated PFAS levels. The airport was formerly an air base during World War II, and PFAS-containing firefighting foams were likely used there.

Residents of the Houlton Mobile Home Park are being supplied with bottled water.
