The PFAS Project Lab

Studying Social, Scientific, and Political Factors of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances

2024 Fourth National PFAS Conference

The 4th National PFAS Conference was held in Ann Arbor, MI from June 10 – 12, 2024. Bringing this conference series to Michigan put a much-needed spotlight on PFAS-contaminated communities in the mid-west that have been leading the fight on addressing PFAS exposures and remedies.

The conference brought together over 50 speakers from across the nation who are leading the way in PFAS research, remediation, health effects, environmental justice, and safer alternatives. Speakers included representatives from the United Nations, the U.S. EPA, the CDC’s ATSDR, and the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
