“City Auditor Deb Gould and Acting Superintendent of Water Mathew Crotty updated the city council’s public works committee on the projects at the water department.
Gould handled the financial end and Crotty handled the technical end.
Gould said the mayor will be sending a request to borrow $50 million to fund the permanent polyfluoroalkyls, or PFAS, removal plant.
