New Poet Laureate Writes Poem on DuPont Case in Mid-Ohio Valley

On our first conference day the Library of Congress appointed Tracy Smith , a poet who runs the creative writing program at Princeton, as Poet Laureate of the US. Her poem “Watershed” – about the DuPont case — was on first published on June 17 on Poets.org as part of the Academy of American Poets’ poem-a-day series.  We can’t reprint due to the arrangement between the publisher and the Academy of American Poets, but you can read it on their website:

Tracy’s Smith’s poetry collection, Wade in the Water, will be published by Graywolf Press in April 2018.
