The Australian Federal Government has denied any responsibility for PFAS contamination at Tamworth Regional Airport in New South Wales.
During question time at a Senate Estimates Hearing, the Department of Defense declared it is not responsible for any activities that could have led to contamination at the site.
A spokesperson for the department also said the body isn’t aware of any reimbursement requests from council.
